David Carradine found death

David Carradine, the actor, the stars in the classic TV series "Kung Fu" was found dead in Bangkok, Thailand.

There are conflicting reports about how Carradine, 72, died.

His agent, who confirmed the death with WABC-TV in New York, Carradine said he believes he died a natural death. But the website of Thai newspaper The Nation quoted unidentified police sources said Thursday Carradine was hanged in his hotel room.

Carradine, he said in Bangkok, a film and stayed at the hotel on Tuesday.

The paper says Carradine could not be contacted after he did not for a meal with the rest of the crew of the film Wednesday and her body was accompanied by a chambermaid at the hotel 10 hours on Thursday morning. The film was not immediately available.

He said an initial investigation that the police had been hanged with a cord with the curtains of the room. He quoted police saying that he had at least 12 hours, and there was no evidence that he had been attacked.

A policeman is in Bangkok Lumpini Precinct station not confirm the identity of the dead to The Associated Press, but said the luxury Swissotel Nai Lert Park Hotel has been reported that a man committed suicide there guest.

A spokesman for the U.S. Embassy, Michael Turner, also the death of the actor.

Turner said he died late Carradine, either Wednesday or Thursday, but no further details out of consideration for his family.

Carradine starred version, as well as the title character in director Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill" films in the years 2003 and 2004.

David Carradine was a member of the acting dynasty that even his father, John Carradine, and his half-brothers, Keith Carradine and Robert Carradine.

The actor first played Kwai Chang Caine in the TV movie "Kung Fu" in 1975 and the star of the series with the same name from 1972 to 1975. He reprise the role of the other "Kung Fu" movie and a new TV series "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues", from 1993 to 1997.

Carradine other TV credits include the miniseries "North and South" and the follow-up, the North and South: Book II ". He voted in 1966 for the TV series "Shane".

Carradine, most recently with stars in the action film "Crank: High Voltage," with Jason Statham. The actor took part in more than 100 films, including 1975 the "Death Race 2000", as the protagonist, a car race in the prison known as Frankenstein. Also Statham stars in the remake of the 2008 cult classic "Death Race" as the voice of the original Frankenstein.

Over the years, Carradine has worked with directors like Martin Scorsese, Ingmar Bergman and Hal Ashby.

Carradine has been married five times, the first four of which ended in divorce. He is survived by his fifth wife, Annie Bierman.
